The series is based on a Russian cold war veteran Shasa Belov who returns to Moscow after three years eager to meet his girl friend and three friends from childhood. Upon seeing his girlfriend's situation, he decides to take revenge from the people who had forced her into doing bad things. Persuit of this goal lead to an unforeseen death which turn Shasha into a convict. The urge to survive leads the four friend to make one of the strongest gang of Moscow.
This Asian Drama is a story about how friends sacrifice to keep each other safe and how power can change people's perception towards others and themselves. Although I would avoid saying that this series is as good as "God Father" itself, I would not hesitate rating this TV series close to it. Good story, Brilliant acting full of drama and a perfect ending. What more can one ask from a TV series. If you are a fan of TV series, This one is a must watch. I will definitely wait for your comments on this one.
